Deep Cleaning vs. Regular Cleaning: Which Does Your Home Need?

Not sure whether to book a deep clean or a regular visit? Here's how the two differ and when each one makes sense.
What regular cleaning covers
Regular cleaning keeps a home in good shape week to week: wiping kitchen counters and appliance fronts, cleaning bathrooms, dusting reachable surfaces, and vacuuming and mopping floors.
It works best when a home is already reasonably clean and just needs consistent upkeep.
What a deep clean adds
A deep clean goes after the buildup routine visits skip — baseboards, door frames, cabinet fronts, grout lines, light switches, and the areas around and behind appliances.
It takes longer and is more detailed, which is why it usually costs more than a routine visit.
When to choose a deep clean
Book a deep clean before starting a recurring plan, after a long gap between cleanings, before or after hosting, or at the change of seasons.
After one deep clean, regular visits are usually enough to keep things on track.
